Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy

For individuals recovering from a stroke, serious injury, or living with a developmental disability such as Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis, the simplest of everyday tasks often become sources of pain and frustration. Specializing in strategies proven to effectively compensate for abilities lost or difficult to recover, your occupational therapist will work one-on-one with you towards new techniques for cooking, cleaning, bathing and dressing—and most importantly, moving more independently with far less discomfort.

Occupational therapy is uniquely planned for each patient to help them regain their independence with activities like grooming, dressing, feeding, hygiene, fine motor skills, safety awareness training, transfer training, and work simplification skills.
